Conclusion of a successful art exhibition – Platform 19
Our successful ‘Platform 19’ art exhibition has now come to an end. Work was featured from senior pupils in Bassingbourn, Bottisham and Sawston Village Colleges, The Netherhall School and The Oakes College Cambridge, it is hoped that the exhibition will become an annual event. Many of the pieces came from pupils’ GCSE and Alevel portfolios.
Jonathan Culpin, CEO of Anglian Learning, said: “I am immensely proud of the artwork that our pupils have created for this exhibition.
“The talent on display here is just a fraction of what I see when I visit our schools.
Many visitors to the Michaelhouse Centre were impressed with the standard of artwork on display.
Polly Bodmer, Young Arts Rep for The Arts Society South Cambs said: “The exhibition absolutely lives up to its name. It was a really good platform for showing off your students’ talent and for introducing Anglian Learning in an accessible and understandable way.”
Photographs are highlights of the exhibition including some of the visitors who attended and pupil artists with their artwork.
