Essex Based Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport (JFAN) Joins Anglian Learning
Anglian Learning are delighted to announce that Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport has joined their Trust.
The move which expands Anglian Learning to be a Trust of five secondary schools, three primary schools and two sixth forms within Cambridgeshire and Essex was finalised on 1 January 2020.
Jonathan Culpin, Anglian Learning’s CEO said “We have been working closely with Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport over the last few months, and their Governors, Staff, and parents are all very positive about becoming a part of our Trust.
“JFAN’s core aims and values are aligned with our own and those of our academies. The support and collaboration that being a part of Anglian Learning will bring to the school will be of an enormous value to Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport and also to our Trust schools.

JFAN is an academy based in Newport, Essex, founded with the vision of Dame Joyce Frankland ‘love I bear learning’ and this is set within JFAN’s values to ‘explore, fulfil and flourish’, recognising her wider vision for students, staff and all members of the community. JFAN has approximately 900 students between the ages of 11 to 19.
