Pupils from Howard Community Primary School say thank you to police
As part of their PHSE focus pupils of Howard Community Primary School have been thinking about kindness. They considered how people were kind to each other and their thoughts turned to the work of the police.
The pupils decided to make thank you cards to express their gratitude to the police force for keeping them all safe.
PCSO School Liaison Officer Jessica Mcleod 3348 visited the school to collect the thank you cards that the children had made.
Alison Weir, Acting Headteacher said “We are especially proud of our children for recognising the work of the police force and showing their appreciation in this way for all that they do.”
PSCO Jessica Mcleod said” The team are in agreement that these thank you cards are a very positive message, through what has been very difficult times for everyone. The cards are a real moral boost for the staff – a “Thank you” may seem a small gesture but it has a very big impact on us all.”
