Full Opening of Anglian Learning Schools
Anglian Learning is looking forward to welcoming all pupils back in September. Many of our schools have planned a staggered start to the term allowing sufficient time to explain the new arrangements and time for pupils to settle back into the school routines.
Each school community will be divided into bubbles to minimise social mixing. Hand washing / sanitising and cleaning arrangements are also a key element to the new school routines.
Risk Assessments have been updated for September opening, addressing the most recent Health and Safety guidance and are specific and tailored to each individual school. Individual risk assessments are available from each Academy. Staff, Pupils, and Parents / Carers are asked to familiarise yourself with the plans.
Following the new guidance on face coverings in schools, Headteachers will be reviewing their plans and risk assessments to incorporate these changes where appropriate. It is important to ensure that the wearing of face coverings complements the other measures that have been designed to reduce social mixing and possible transmission. Therefore, arrangements may differ to suit the particular context of each school.
We look forward to your support and to working closely with you to ensure a smooth and safe start to the new academic year.
