On 15 June at 2 pm, many children from across our primary schools will be taking part in the ‘Biggest Sing World Record’ attempt which has a theme of ‘Lovely Day’.
The children are singing virtually, alongside more than 330,000 young singers. Billy Ocean and Ruti from ITV’s The Voice, will be hosting and streaming live from the O2 directly to our schools! The O2 event will be shared by Young Voices and you can watch it on https://www.youtube.com/c/YVTVChannel

One of their year 4 pupils said, “I loved it so much, it reminded me of when we went with the choir to sing at the 02, before Covid’.
Mrs Mason, music lead teacher at Linton Heights said, ‘Events like this are a brilliant way of helping our pupils to be part of something, even when we are restricted and can’t mix together. Singing and music is an important part of our school day, and we loved seeing everyone take part today.’
