Cycling Week Achievements
After the fantastic success of our ‘Anglian Learning Walking Week’, we decided that it would be exciting to continue the fun and hold a ‘Cycling Week’. There was great participation in this challenge, with a total sum of 683.73 miles cycled across the Trust.
Four members of staff cycled more than 100 miles in the week and everyone who participated deserves huge recognition. The average miles cycled per person across the week was 75.97!
The £25 John Lewis voucher for the most miles cycled in the week has been awarded to Ceri Cairnduff from Bottisham Village College. Ceri achieved a huge 132 miles which is an average of 18.857 miles cycled per day. Congratulations Ceri, that really is incredible.
As well as the voucher award, we have presented a trophy for the winning academy with the highest average miles cycled. The winner of this was The Netherhall School who totalled 118.5 miles which is an amazing achievement.
Well done and thank you to all staff who participated in both the Walking Week and Cycling Week this year. We will be planning more of these activities in the coming academic year.
