This summer, several schools within Anglian Learning are undergoing significant improvements to enhance their facilities. Here is a breakdown of these exciting projects:

Bottisham Village College is currently engaged in a cycle of  projects to replace its roofing. Additionally, the installation of Solar PV panels is underway, promoting sustainability and renewable energy practices. Another major project taking place is replacing the aging and obsolete Main Electrical Income Distribution Board.

Bassingbourn Village College is focusing on refurbishing its circulation areas and wayfinding across the site. This effort aims to create a more pleasant and conducive environment for students and colleagues. Science classrooms and corridors are being refurbished with new flooring and decorating.

Bottisham Community Primary School is prioritising the replacement of old windows. The new windows will improve insulation and energy efficiency, contributing to a comfortable learning environment.

Fen Ditton Community Primary School’s main hall is undergoing re-roofing. This essential maintenance work ensures structural integrity and safety for everyone using the facility.

Linton Village College is also receiving a new roof. This investment addresses safety concerns and ensures a secure learning environment for students and colleagues.

Stapleford Community Primary School is installing a new air source heating system. This upgrade supports the Trust’s strategy in sustainability and will provide more efficient heating benefitting both pupils and colleagues during colder months.

Wimbish Primary Academy is updating its facilities by replacing the hard court area. This enhancement will support physical education programmes and outdoor activities.

Marleigh Primary Academy is further committing to green energy by expanding its solar capabilities with installing additional Solar PV panels.

Howard Community Academy is continuing its internal refurbishment of the school.

The improvements would not be possible without our central and in-school operational teams and contractors working to ensure the works are completed in time for the new school year. We are incredibly thankful for all their hard work in helping to create safe and aspirational learning environments for our Trust.
