The 4 to 8 November marks Trustees’ Week!

Trustees’ Week is a time to come together to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our knowledgeable and supportive members and trustees.

Trustees and governors play a critical role in the governance and success of our Trust. Their responsibilities and influence span several key areas, ensuring that Anglian Learning operates effectively, ethically, and in the best interests of its pupils.

On the importance of Trustees, Ken Murphy, Trustee of Anglian Learning since its inception in 2016, said “I think the role of a trustee is important as the sector requires qualified, able people to be part of the strategic planning process, as well as being a critical friend to the senior leadership team. Trustees also help to drive the ethos and moral direction of Anglian Learning, and act as a sounding board to help with problem solving and imparting knowledge from their given skill set”.

On thanking our Trustees, Kerrie Jones, Head of Governance at Anglian Learning, said “I would like to thank our trustees for their invaluable contribution to Anglian Learning. They have such an important role to play in ensuring we achieve our Core Vision, using their skills, knowledge and experience to guide us forward on what is never an easy journey. We are extremely grateful to them all.”
