Meadow’s Honouring Heroes
This year, our children took part in a special Remembrance Day assembly to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country. During the ceremony, each child placed a coin on a giant poppy, creating a meaningful tribute to those who have given so much. The poppy, symbolising remembrance, was slowly covered in coins as the children paused to reflect on the importance of peace, bravery, and sacrifice. It was a touching moment for our school community, reminding everyone of the importance of gratitude and respect for those who have helped secure our freedom.
