Ken Murphy named as new Chair of Trustees for Anglian Learning
Anglian Learning is delighted to announce the appointment of long-serving Trustee, Ken Murphy, as Chair of Trustees, following the departure of Helen Pain.
Ken was one of the founding Trustees when our Trust was established in 2016 and has played a key role in its development, supporting its growth from four to eighteen schools. His extensive background in wealth management and business development has been instrumental in guiding the Trust through a period of expansion.
Reflecting on his appointment, Ken said, “I am proud of what Anglian Learning has achieved since its inception, staying true to our core purpose of ‘Transforming Together’. I look forward to continuing our work alongside my fellow Trustees, including our newest members, and drawing on our collective expertise to ensure that every pupil receives the highest quality education and every member of staff is supported to reach their full potential.”
Kerrie Jones, Head of Governance, Compliance and Risk, said, “Ken has played a pivotal role throughout the nine years he has been with our Trust, helping to shape and steer our strategic direction. We are grateful to have his continued leadership as we embark on the next stage of our journey.”
