Celebrating Pat Arnold – Over 50 Years’ of Service

After more than 50 years of dedicated service, we bid a fond farewell to Pat Arnold, who is retiring from her role as an Adult Learning Tutor at Bottisham Village College.

Pat began her career in the world of London fashion houses before bringing her extraordinary talents to Adult Education. For over half a century, she has been a cornerstone of our college community and one of the longest-serving Adult Learning Tutors in the county.

Through her expert teaching in Pattern Cutting and Dressmaking, Pat has shared not only her unmatched skill but also her warmth, encouragement, and unwavering support. She has been more than a teacher — a mentor, role model, and friend to generations of learners. Pat’s classes were always more than lessons; they were welcoming spaces where creativity thrived and confidence grew.

Her dedication, kindness, and loyalty to Bottisham have made a lasting impact. Pat’s influence will be felt for years to come, both in the lives she’s touched and the skills she’s passed on. As she retires, we celebrate her legacy and offer heartfelt thanks for everything she has given.

Pat Arnold is truly irreplaceable — and she will be deeply missed.
