JFAN Principal’s Portrait

Yesterday, we held a very special event at Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport, with the unveiling of the portrait of our Principal, Mr. Roberts. This wonderful tradition dates back many years. The stunning portrait was painted by the talented local artist, Nikki Sims.

The unveiling ceremony was a memorable occasion, attended by Governors, members of Anglian Learning’s leadership team, staff members, friends, family, past colleagues, and our new Principal from September, Mrs Warwick, reflecting the strong sense of community that is a hallmark of our academy. The event was a testament to the rich history and traditions that are deeply embedded within our school. Our wonderful year 10 choir performed two songs and volunteers from the PTA were on hand to serve refreshments.

We are immensely proud of our school’s heritage and the values that we uphold. The portrait of Mr. Roberts will stand as a lasting tribute to his contribution to our academy and serve as a reminder of the strong bonds that form our school community.
