On Sunday, Mrs. Warwick, accompanied by Eliah and Harriet from Year 7, Maddie from Year 11, and Zara and Lily from Year 13, participated in the Remembrance Ceremony and service at St. Mary’s Church in Newport.

This event serves as a meaningful occasion for the Newport community, as well as anyone connected to it, to unite in remembrance and honor those who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today and for future generations like ours.

Time May Pass, But We Will Never Forget:  A tribute in Our Great Hall

This Remembrance Day, JFAN students created a moving tribute to honor those who served in the great wars , “Time May Pass, But We Will Never Forget,”.

Flowing gently from the balcony to the ground below are hundreds of handmade poppies, each crafted by our students. These poppies represent individual acts of reflection and gratitude, cascading like a river of remembrance down to the hall.

If you are visiting the Academy this month for any reason we would be delighted to show it to you.

A big thank you to Miss Sharpe and all the students for all their hard work on this project.
