The jazz bands of LVC and SVC joined together with Comberton and Impington on Saturday 22nd November for the School Big Band Concert as part of the Cambridge Jazz Festival at Storey’s Field Centre in Eddington, Cambridge. Each band played a short set to a very receptive and enthusiastic audience and this was followed by a workshop led by Vij Prakash where all the musicians from the different schools played together. It was a superb opportunity for our students to play in a professional venue with sound and lighting and hear and meet musicians from other local schools.
