Linton Heights Choir Perform at Young Voices 2026 & Disneyland Competition
On Tuesday 24th February, Mrs Mason and Mr Wilson took 50 pupils across Years 4-6
to perform at the amazing London 02 arena. It was our annual Young Voices concert,
and is a huge highlight of the school calendar. This year we were joined by Mrs
Chapman and 5 amazing parent chaperones for a busy day full of rehearsals, snacks
and LOTS of singing! In the evening the arena was once again packed, including 64
family and friends from Linton Heights Community. The photos and videos always
speak for themselves as it’s such an inspirational and exciting event to experience. We
already have 2nd February 2027 in our school calendar for next year!
Meanwhile in March, 33 members of choir were lucky enough to record a video entry
for a competition. The prizes include a trip to Disneyland for the lucky winning school,
£500 to spend on musical instruments for second place, and a third place prize of
books for our school library. We are all keeping our fingers crossed!
