Year 5 Maths Challenge – Linton Heights Junior School
On Monday 26th April four pupils from Year 5 attended the Cambridgeshire Year 5
Mathematics Challenge 2026. Rosalie, Carys, Phoebe and Zach were selected to
represent LHJS for the heat at The Bellbird School in Sawston. The team competed in a
range of different mathematical challenges which included arithmetic, estimation and
memory. LHJS were represented wonderfully by the team of four and we were
incredibly proud of their achievements. The questions involved a lot of challenging
maths and not only did they apply their knowledge brilliantly to this, but they also
showed great teamwork and communication skills.
Well done Carys, Phoebe, Rosalie and Zach – we are very proud of you!
