Webinar Series Two
Food and Nutrition for Mental Wellbeing
Anglian Learning is collaborating with existing partners Innovate IFG, Anglian Leisure, as well as our new partner, the Cambridge-based charity, The Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health.
Mental wellbeing is shaped by everyday habits as well as what happens in the classroom. Evidence shows that what we eat influences mood, energy, focus and emotional wellbeing. Practical strategies will be shared on how to support yourself and your young people by encouraging positive behaviour change, creating opportunities for healthier habits. Finally, we will cover effective ways to set and track personal goals, equipping participants with tools to support long-term wellbeing.
This page brings together trusted NHS posters alongside resources developed to support schools, families, and young people. There is a blog explaining how food and nutrition supports mental wellbeing, an Eatwell plate poster and a simple behaviour tracker to help encourage healthy, realistic habits at home and at school. These documents can be found in the downloads section below.

Following on from part one of our Mental Health: It’s Not all In The Mind’ webinar series, part two, below, focuses on the role of food and nutrition for mental wellbeing.
After watching the webinars we would welcome your feedback and ask you to complete this short survey.
