Anglian Learning is delighted to announce the retu Anglian Learning is delighted to announce the return of Stage 25, our Trust-wide dance festival 🌟. 

Later this month, hundreds of pupils from across our primary and secondary schools will come together at Bottisham Village College to perform original dance pieces inspired by this year’s theme of Belonging by Design.

Each performance promises to offer a unique interpretation, reflecting the diverse voices and shared values within our community 🎵. 

We look forward to sharing highlights and photographs from what promises to be an inspiring and uplifting event. Stay tuned!

Annabel Curwen and Sabrina Ahmed join our Trust board with a wealth of knowledge in delivering change and strengthening governance. 

Annabel, a senior leader in change and transformation for a large multinational logistics company, is passionate about supporting young people and creating opportunities for them to thrive.

Sabrina, a senior leader in internal audit, is keen to bring her experience with upholding the highest standards in compliance and building resilient foundations for our schools to succeed.

We would like to thank Helen for her leadership of the board and for providing invaluable support and challenge in guiding our Trust through a period of substantial change. 

Helen has championed the needs of all pupils, but especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and ensuring that our moral purpose is always at the heart of any decision making.

🎉Congratulations to Tony N, year 9 pupil of Lin 🎉Congratulations to Tony N, year 9 pupil of Linton Village College, who has been crowned the overall winner of Anglian Learning’s World Book Day Creative Challenge! 

Their imaginative submission, ‘The Truth’, was a written piece based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes novels, with Dr Watson as the narrator 🔍.

His work was selected as it was “Meticulously written; stylish and fluent” and “Vivid storytelling that is perfectly evocative of the rich, complex, international and intellectual world of Holmes and Watson”. 

Tony was presented with his certificate by Celia Harriss, Head of English at Linton Village College and James Woodcock, Director of Education: Professional Learning and Curriculum. 

The idea of the competition came from a passionate group of English teachers collaborating to enrich pupils’ learning experiences, and it was a resounding success. Well done to all pupils who entered 👏.
