Teaching is a wonderfully rewarding career. Training to teach in East Anglia gives you access to some of the best teacher training in the country, perhaps the world.

Training to teach in an Anglian Learning school means you will be guided by excellent classroom practitioners who are experienced providers of teacher training, working in partnership with exceptional teacher training organisations, particularly CTSN, the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University. By partnering with different providers, we are able to advise you on the most appropriate route for your circumstances.

Undertaking initial teacher training in an Anglian Learning school gives you a strong grounding in theories of learning, child development, and subject and phase-specific practices. You will be carefully guided in how to put theory into practice through a structured, coherent, responsive programme. You will gain confidence with increasing classroom experience and benefit from close mentoring by experienced, successful practitioners.
