Our Director of IT attended the MAT Partnership Network Digital event at the Doubletree Hilton near the Tower of London yesterday.  On the agenda were topics around Digital Strategy and Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Pedtech (pedagogically driven EdTech decisions), and Cyber Security, during which Richard Mayer took part in a panel discussion.

Richard said, “It is always wonderful to share ideas with and learn from colleagues within the sector”.  He went on to say, “To be immersed amongst so many with the unifying commitment of achieving the very best possible outcomes for young people across the country really promotes a sense of positivity for the future”.

Next week, Richard will be attending the Cyber UK conference in Birmingham, hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre at the International Convention Centre, which is a highly regarded event in the field of Cyber Security, bringing together experts from across the industry to discuss the pertinent matters of the time.

Anglian Learning is always working hard to refine its Cyber Security posture against the ever increasing threats from private and state-sponsored bad actors from across the globe.  Participation in the wider industry brings back learning that can then be implemented to the good of our schools and communities.
