What does it really mean to teach for creativity? What does it really mean to teach for creativity? 🤔

Our Teaching for Creativity Wheel was designed to help answer two essential questions: What do we mean by teaching for creativity? And what does it look like in the classroom?

Through our research and practice, we identified four foundational pillars that support and enable teaching for creativity:

🙋‍♂️ Questioning – Encouraging curiosity through thoughtful, open-ended questions.
💭 Thinking Hard – Creating space for deep thinking.
👣 Modelling – Demonstrating clear steps and thought processes.
🤝 Collaboration – Providing opportunities for pupils to share ideas and learn from others.

These elements shape classroom environments where creativity can thrive, for both pupils and teachers.

🔗 Explore each pillar in depth in our ‘Teaching for Creativity’ playbook via the link in our bio.
