Public Consultation for Deneia Primary Academy’s proposals
Cambridgeshire County Council has appointed Kier Construction to design and build Deneia Primary Academy, Anglian Learning’s new 630-place primary school with a 78-place early years provision in Waterbeach.
The project, in collaboration with master developer Urban&Civic, aims to create a school that aligns with modern teaching and learning visions. As part of the planning process, Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking community feedback on the emerging designs.
Residents, parents /carers, and key stakeholders can review the proposals online by clicking here or attending a drop-in event at Waterbeach Barracks Community Room on 12 March from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Feedback can be submitted via email (DPA@Kier.co.uk) or by post by 26 March 2025.
Construction on Deneia Primary Academy is expected to begin in February 2026, with completion scheduled for spring 2027. The final opening date will be set by the Council and the Department for Education.
