On Thursday 4 and Friday 5 April, Anglian Learning had the pleasure to collaborate with colleagues from LiFE Multi Academy Trust in Leicestershire.

Through our mutual membership of Whole Education, we found ourselves to be very much aligned in our values and leadership philosophy, but in different places strategically and organisationally.

As Anglian Learning is revising its long-term strategy for the next 5 years, it has been very timely to work with LiFE, learning from their approaches and engaging in mutual challenge and co-construction. We created tools to test our thinking, inspired by the work of Professor Toby Greany of the University of Nottingham, Angela O’Brien OBE of Global Consultancy, and Professor Keith Grint of the University of Warwick, and others

We particularly re-examined how well our approaches and systems align with our values and strategic vision, and how they need to evolve as we grow.

Thank you to LiFE colleagues for travelling to Marleigh Primary Academy for the event and challenging us throughout the two days. All attendees agreed the collaborative event was enjoyable and created fruitful conversations on ensuring our pupils benefit from the work we do to transform education together.
