Wishing all our staff, pupils and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🌟

This month, colleagues across our Trust have embraced the festive spirit with a variety of activities. Highlights included crafting a one-of-a-kind Advent calendar for the central team office and raising vital funds for #ChristmasJumperDay.

Members of our central team enjoyed a trip to Cambridge University Botanic Garden to see the dazzling Christmas Lights display, and visited our schools to watch nativity and end-of-year performances by their talented pupils 👏.

A special mention to our CEO, Jonathan Culpin, who stepped into the role of Santa Claus this week, bringing joy and excitement to the pupils of Wimbish Primary Academy!

📢 Welcome Andrew Robinson!

We are pleased to introduce Andrew Robinson, our newest trustee.

Andrew is currently a Deputy CEO of a large multi-academy trust in East Anglia, having previously led significant school improvement as a headteacher in Ipswich. He has always worked in schools that support a high number of pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and is committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities for all children.

👨‍🔬 Starting as a Science teacher in a challenging school in London, he briefly pursued a career in finance before swiftly returning when he realised how much he had missed working in schools. Andrew holds a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford and is currently studying for an MBA from University College London.

We were delighted to welcome back John Kane of Kanevolve Limited on day two of our annual leadership programme for middle leaders 🌟.

Focused on coaching, mentoring, and strategic leadership, this initiative brings together colleagues from our primary and secondary schools, @anglianleisure and operational teams to build a coaching culture across Anglian Learning.

We are particularly grateful to John, who is recovering from the recent flooding of his home, who continues to share his expertise to help strengthen our leadership.
