Darling Inspires Next Generation
Students had a VIP visit from Harry Darling, professional football player of Swansea City A.F.C, to enjoy a two-hour session packed with discussions and activities around the English Football League player’s career.
Harry visited both Bottisham Primary and Village College, a former student of both, to discuss the steps he took to signing for a major football team and the pressures he faced along the way. Following on from this inspiring talk, the students were treated to a classroom session led by Harry.
The students enjoyed the session, which was a great example on how to inspire the next generation who look up to former students like Harry who put the hard work in to achieve their goals.
