CHILFORD HUNDRED EDUCATION TRUST (CHET)
Following a thorough and extensive investigation of a number of Multi Academy Trusts, we are pleased to announce plans are underway for Chilford Hundred Education Trust (CHET) to join Anglian Learning.
Anglian Learning have been in discussion with the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk-based Trust about their possible membership of Anglian Learning. CHET have been seeking to join a larger trust which shares similar aims and values, as well as central services able to support improvement and leadership.
A period of due diligence and consultation with stakeholders, including parents and the wider community of the CHET schools, will now begin before seeking the approval of the Regional Schools Commissioner for the transfer of CHET into Anglian Learning.
Jonathan Culpin, Anglian Learning’s CEO, said:”We are absolutely delighted to be working with CHET who share our core aims and values, our belief in inclusion and a broad and balanced curriculum, and the determination to provide the best possible educational opportunities for young people.”
CHET has Linton Village College, Linton Heights Junior School, The Meadow Primary School, The Pines Primary School and Howard Community Primary School as its constituent academies.
